As for the major TV networks, they were not hoodwinked by a Pentagon propaganda scheme. They were willingly complicit, and have been for decades. As FAIR’s director, I began questioning top news executives years ago about their over-reliance on non-debate segments featuring former military brass. After the 1991 Gulf war, CNN and other networks realized that their use of ex-generals had helped the Pentagon dazzle and disinform the public about the conduct of the war.

Ok, ich weiß es steht schon länger bei Final Gear
aber irgendwie ist es mir so definitv erst jetzt aufgefallen.

NBC produziert eine amerikanische Version von Top Gear.

Ich lasse das mal ganz kurz im Raum stehen.

Ich hatte davon gehört, dass die BBC ein amerikanisches Top Gear produzieren wollte und dass sie dazu das Originalteam haben wollten, Jeremy aber nein sagte, weil er dann ja längere Zeit in den USA sein müsste.

Aber so definitiv und mit Ausstrahlungstermin am 4. März hatte ich es bisher noch nicht wahrgenommen.

Ich kann mir allerdings nicht vorstellen, dass das kommerzielle Network NBC so laissez-faire mit einem clarksonschen “This car is a pile of rubbish, don’t buy it!” umgehen würde wie es die BBC tut.

Auf RTL gibt es im Zuge der Welle der Auswanderungsshows demnächst ein «Die Promi-Auswanderer – Ab nach Mallorca».

Warum so zaghaft, RTL?

Ich würde sagen sowohl eine Staffel «Die Promi-Auswanderer – Ab nach Neuseeland» und eine Staffel «Die Promi-Auswanderer – Ab nach Feuerland» tun dringend Not.

Eine Liste an Prominenten, die sich sehr gut in diesen beiden Folgeformaten machen würden könnte ich auch noch beisteuern.
